Dr. Skyhar is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, in practice on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas since 1988. Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and the treatment of knee and shoulder conditions, Dr. Skyhar’s practice concentration is the evaluation and treatment of shoulder and knee problems, as well as other sports related injuries. If surgery is required, advanced minimally invasive knee and shoulder surgery is the focus of the practice. If knee or shoulder replacement is needed, appropriate referrals to very competent specialists will be provided.
